On the S58 platform, the oil cooler is mounted low and fully exposed to road debris. A single rock strike can puncture the cooler, leading to oil loss and catastrophic engine damage. Installation Note
Hardware is included for a straightforward bolt-on installation. Note that two bolts with spacers are supplied — these replace specific factory fasteners under the front end. When loosening the OEM hardware, take note of what each fastener secures before removal. No permanent modifications are required and the install can be completed with basic hand tools.
