If you've gone ahead and implemented the fan Removal modification on your E36 BMW, congratulations on your wise decision! You can now enjoy the peace of mind that comes with the absence of a mechanical fan prone to issues. However, you may have encountered a challenge in mounting your coolant reservoir since the factory setup is designed to attach to the mechanical fan shroud.

Regarding the placement of the bracket, it can be situated on either the left or right-hand side of the radiator, giving the buyer the flexibility to choose their preferred location. Once the desired location is determined, simply drill two holes and mount the bracket using the provided fasteners.
