To ensure \u003cb\u003eperfect fitment\u003c\/b\u003e, we \u003cb\u003e3D laser scanned\u003c\/b\u003e the engine bay, engine, and its ancillaries. After determining the optimal oil cooler position, a custom mounting bracket was designed using the threaded ports on the factory bumper support. We 3D-printed a prototype for fitment testing before manufacturing the final aluminum version. All HEL direct-fit oil cooler brackets are laser cut, precision-folded, and powder-coated in black for a \u003cb\u003estealthy\u003c\/b\u003e finish. Using AN10 high-flow performance hose to deliver and return oil from the external oil cooler, this kit includes one of HEL's popular oil filter sandwich plates, equipped with a \u003cb\u003ebuilt-in thermostat\u003c\/b\u003e. The thermostat ensures your engine oil flows to the external oil cooler \u003cb\u003eonly\u003c\/b\u003e when the oil reaches the desired temperature (\u003cb\u003e92°C \/ 198°F\u003c\/b\u003e). Around 10% of the engine oil circulates through the oil cooler at any given time, ensuring continuous flow that \u003cb\u003eprevents\u003c\/b\u003e air pockets and safeguards against thermal shock. The surplus oil is channeled back to the engine through the internal bypass system, promoting \u003cb\u003efaster warm-up\u003c\/b\u003e, providing added \u003cb\u003eprotection\u003c\/b\u003e in cold weather conditions, and \u003cb\u003eeliminating\u003c\/b\u003e the risk of overcooling.
